Hi, my name is Yan Zhang. I got my bachelor's degree from Department of Computer Science, Nankai University, Tainjin China in year 2002. I just got my Ph.D. degree in Department of Computer Science at University of Vermont in May 2008, and my advisor was Professor Xindong Wu.

My research interests include but not limited to:

  1. Data Mining: Noise Modeling and Reasoning, Active Learning,
  2. Business Intelligence;
  3. Bayesian Inference;
  4. Bioinformatics
