Areas of expertise: Applied and computational mathematics: mathematical modeling, asymptotic and numerical analysis of differential equations. Hydrodynamic stability and transition: the development and evolution of fully three-dimensional secondary instabilities in compressible flows as the result of wave-wave interactions, instability-driven flows. Structural mechanics: computational and asymptotic analysis of vibration problems for elastic rotors including the effects of airloadings. Biomedical mathematics: cerebrospinal fluid dynamics and the analysis of intracranial pressure mechanisms in the human brain.
