At the meeting this week, the following topics were discussed:

• The participation of non students within the organization.
• Registration was taken for the veterans day celebration.
• A revision was proposed to the constitution in order to allow 3/4 time students (9+ credits) to participate in executive committee.
• Discussed possible upcoming events.

At the meeting this week, the following topics were discussed:

• The mechanics of the GI Bill and Vocational Rehabilitation Bill.
• The group met and spoke to Chris Lucier, our Faculty Advisor and the Vice President of Enrollment.
• The recruitment flier created by Jon Gonzalez, and the best placement of the flier & its distribution.
• In regards to the organization constitution, discussed general provisions, faculty advisor, amendments, elections, executive committee responsibilities and powers, with an emphasis on the election/appointment process.
• The UVM Veterans Day celebration on Nov 11 @ 9am, held in the Waterman Building.
• The use of the space given to us outside of the office of the Vice President of Federal and State community relationships, such as service pictures and other memorabilia.
• Support from and interfacing with the Trio Learning Co-Op.
• The Comcast sponsored interview of veterans, Monday @ 9am for approximately an hour in Camp Johnson.

Our next meeting has been scheduled for Friday, October 30th, 1:45pm @ Brennan's in the Davis Center.

Our next social event has been scheduled for Friday, November 13th, 7pm @ Ri Ra's Irish Pub on Church Street.
