EE-275 (Spring 2012)
Digital Signal Processing (3 credits hours)
&

EE-289 (Spring 2012)
Digital Signal Processing Lab. (2-3 credit hours)

Prerequisite: EE-171 Signals and Systems

This is the home page for courses EE-275 and EE-289.
EE-275 has been redesigned this year to have a project component.

EE-275 covers the basic theory of digital signal processing. EE-289 is the Lab. part, 2-3 credit hours. Lab covers simulations in MATLAB with some hardware(EE-289 MATLAB Labs) for 2 credit hours. More hardware experiments ((EE-289 Real-Time Labs) can be added for a total of 3 credit hours.

EE-289 MATLAB Labs will generally, but not always, follow the subject matter presented in EE-275. They have one hardware Lab that provides a good introduction to Simulink, Code Composer Studio and the TMS320C6713 DSK.

EE-289 Real-Time Labs provide more real-time experiments using the 6713DSK board.
