EE-275 (Fall 2007)
Digital Signal Processing (3 credits hours)
&

EE-289 (Fall 2007)
Digital Signal Processing Lab. (2-3 credit hours)

Prerequisite: EE-171 Signals and Systems

This is the home page for courses EE-275 and EE-289. EE-275 covers the basic theory of digital signal processing. EE-289 is the Lab. part, typically 2 credit hours. That covers simulations in MATLAB with some hardware(EE-289 MATLAB Labs). More hardware experiments ((EE-289 Real-Time Labs) can be added for a total of 3 credit hours. EE-289 MATLAB Labs follow the subject matter presented in EE-275. It has one hardware Lab that provides a good introduction to Simulink, Code Composer Studio and the TMS320C6713 DSK. EE-289 Real-Time Labs provide more real-time experiments.
