Prerequisite:
EE-171. Which means, a working
knowledge of Fourier analysis. We will go over
the basic DSP concepts required for this course,
in the first three lectures.
Course Goals:
To understand why and when Fourier analysis fails and
why and when wavelets are better. To use wavelets in many practical applications
with real data, while still maintaining the mathematical integrity of the subject.
