CSSA Website To-Do List

1) write some nifty perl to…
* allows responses to specific posts
* count #chars in post + use mod to negotiate page-length
* add (comment posted by:)

2) ensure that subscribe to mailing list form works

3) Populate projects list with student projects

write convo between mek @ sabalaba
1. making those hacker logos clickable -> single-page
2. a script to enforce the #chars displayed per post before is added
3. The discussion page should show # comments on each block — i agree
4. We need to hack out single-page a bit so it has some formatting.
5. We need to change the left-nav links (so they work?…)
6. Allow commenting on all posts which display @ single-page) and..
7. Have a script that creates a new page (page 2) when # comments are too long
8. Make logo clickable
9. Change logo because it’s ugly in the face.

I need to fix the width of this comment box (input box)

I figured out how to edit this whole commenting scheme. There’s a file called .comments.php (invisible) on cssa’s cems account (in cssa-2 if you jive). When I make this default it kills (everything). Working on it!

What’s up all! I promised to leave feedback on the super deluxe hydroponics system I bought from Dealzer.com. Well, here it is. I bought the system on September 1st. By the time it arrived, I had all my plans ready as far as the plants I have here to grow with. To unpack it (it came fully assembled) and plug it in – its fully automated – and to set my initial plants up, it took me about 30 minutes. I bought this with a Co2 system as well. Incredibly this box is not only growing my plants at a rate of 1 inch per day, but by the time my first harvest came in, the younger plants were tall enough to move to the flowering chamber. This is pretty good and my first experience with a proper hydroponics system.

Well, lets see…. I can’t really find a single problem with this box, except maybe that it takes 2 people to move it around the house. But other than that, I haven’t seen a grow box looking this good before. I have made a few myself and bought from local dealers, but this is the best of the best. Everything from the clone chamber to the size is very well done. The customer service is very easy to deal with and very friendly. The system also comes with lock and key for security and came fully concealed.

Anyway, if you wanted a review, you got one. I give this company a 9.5 out of 10 rating.

I can’t say their perfect, but who is? Overall it was a great deal. Here their phone number if you need it. 888-HYDRO-81 and their website name is Dealzer.com grow box.
