Two midterm exams, each worth 15%

Final project in lieu of exam, worth 20%

Assignments, worth 40% total

Quizzes and participation, worth 10%

You are responsible for logging into your account every day
as all assignments and other requirements will be posted there.

Assignment deadlines TBD by class.

Feel free to use WebCT to request assistance (discussion board or WebCT-mail) .
If you want to ask specific questions about your own code,
please do not post it to the board;
Instead, meet with a TA or instructor, Face-to-Face or via WebCT Chatroom (by prior arrangement)

The Student Edition of MATLAB, Version 7.0.1, Release 14, SP3
is available in the UVM Bookstore
(Note:  Once you buy this, you may not return it, even if still wrapped.)

Professional Software (R2006b) also available in Votey labs (206, 229, 246)

Site-licensed software may also be used for free (see January e-mail sent to you@uvm.edu)

Note:  You must be connected to UVM network (on-campus; off-campus using VPN) each time you use this version of the software.
